I'm Zachary
I've been working in clay for 30+ years when I took a ceramics class in high school and immediately knew it was my life's calling. I was a high school art teacher for 20 years until the birth of our son when I became a stay-at-home-dad. Now, I am fortunate to devote my time to a variety of pursuits that ignite my passion.

Process
My favorite way of working with clay is on the wheel and then raku firing my vessels. There's a palpable contrast between the meditative quality of wheel throwing and the rush of adrenaline and excitement with raku firing.
